The "gig" snare...
A handmade boutique drum at an assembly line price. The “gig” snare was designed to provide an artisan instrument to any budget. At a street price of $499, these snares are built around an in-house handmade 8 ply maple shell, Evans American heads, and Puresound Custom snare wires. The exterior plies will be determined by in stock veneer from previous builds giving each drum a distinct and special individuality.

5x14 in a new shell design. This is a High Tension Layup (HTL).
All grain is run in the same direction and bent in the more-resistant direction resulting in a stiffer, thinner shell. The low-end frequencies are enhanced for an unmeasured fatness.
